Jr. Graphic Designer Jobs

Vida Shoes International is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer. The selected candidate will work cross functional with Production, Design, Marketing, E-com, Sales and freelance copywriter/developers/designers. They will assist in the design and development of marketing materials including photo retouching, e-blasts, postcards, digital banners, web/print ads, etc. The selected candidate must be innately creative with an eye for design, ranging from within research/production and concept development, to social media marketing. They should be highly organized, adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, and very self-sufficient in managing their time and schedules responsibly.
Compensation $60-$80k
Job responsibilities include:

• Help to create presentations
• Conceptualize and create innovative and effective designs for a variety of digital and print projects including but not limited to: tradeshows assets, co-op (print/digital assets, ads for boutique pages, etc.) digital/social banners, print, Monthly Newsletter, Amazon A+ detail pages
• Ability to design from ideation to execution’
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Assist with photo retouching: approx. 200 product photos (retouched 2x a year)
• Support with marketing materials and digital asset management tools
• Tradeshow seasonal postcards multiple versions
• Assist with the e-commerce and website creative materials
• Ability to work independently in quick and efficient manner
• Assist creative team with UX design the site
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to articulate to support specific products
• Research and concept Point of Purchase materials, work with vendor to see the project through completion.
• Create/update catalogs, look books, tradeshow postcards, in-store collateral, construction guides, social media assets, digital/print ads, business cards, brand decks, B2b brand decks and trade show materials
• Produce & manage the release of print and digital collateral

Skills:

• Experience with MS Office, primarily Word, Excel
• A savvy eye for design in terms of photography and trend forecasting.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop specifically photo retouching, color correction, path creation, etc.
• Self starter with creative ideas and team player a big plus
• Strong project management skills; ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, After Effects,
• Video Experience ( After Effects, Premier, Final Cut and Maya)
• UX Design, HTML and CSS

Education:
BFA Degree in a Graphic Design or related degree.
