The Montgomery County Parks Information Technology & Innovation (ITI) Division has an amazing opportunity for an IT/Telecom Support Intern I. The intern will assist with hardware, software, and systems needs for Montgomery Parks employees.


This position pays at a rate of $16.50 per hour to $22.77 per hour depending on education and qualifications.


The internship is from June 2023 to August 2023.


The work schedule is ~25 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Work schedule will be determined at time of hire.


Examples of Important Duties


  • Resolves tickets and provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems.
  • Organizes and maintains IT resources in storage.
  • Supports the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications


  • A 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and at least Junior class standing.
  • Courses in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or any related field.
  • References from past supervisors and/or professors.
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • A college transcript. An unofficial transcript is acceptable.
  • Current full-time enrollment at an accredited college, university, or trade school.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Windows 10 knowledge.
