Job Description
IT Systems Administrator - Jr.The Junior Systems Administrator will be responsible for tracking all IT Assets, keeping the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the information and IT-related systems. Job duties include Asset identification (inventory of all assets), Tracking (using Service Now and SCCM tools for continuous monitoring) and Maintenance (maintain IT assets according to their lifecycle stage).

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this is a key position that is ideal for a candidate with at least two years of experience on Service Now, SCCM and Intune. Successful candidates will have the technical expertise and business acumen necessary to implement ITIL best practices, standards, Service Level Agreements, and implementation of strong processes.
Essential Job Functions
  • Research, plan, monitor, and record software license and hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts; maintain and audit global inventory; ensure stock is readily available for dissemination across enterprise.
  • Perform, test, and oversee upgrades to new versions of SCCM as need and/or required.
  • Identifies opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery.
  • Provides basic technical support, identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardware.
  • Identify and document product bugs and escalate to Infrastructure team for resolution.
  • Perform verification and regular audits of CMDB content; verifying software assets with license contracts, confirming hardware assets with actual deployments and inventory; and initiating corrective actions as required.
  • Works with multiple teams to deliver PC upgrades, updates, patches, and deployments of new applications via SCCM.
  • Manage inventory of Configuration Items (CIs) and assets, including dependencies and attributes, making sure the modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing CIs and assets are correctly recorded.
  • Provides recommendations for PC hardware and system software planning and budgeting.
  • Monitor Microsoft and other critical security software patches and updates.
  • Participate and oversee the building and maintenance of images, assisting in the production and employment of Group Policy Objects to manage the environment.
  • Coordinate efforts to maintain / upgrade current operating systems and hardware to standards to meet strategic objectives.
  • Manages customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations.
Job Qualifications
  • 2 to 3, or more years of relevant IT work experience.
  • Experience with incident ticketing systems, workstation management systems and desktop imaging.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, and procedures.
  • Experience working with SCCM, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Office 365.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft OS (Windows 7, 10, Server 2012 - 2019).
  • Demonstrates in-dept knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products.
Work Conditions
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Position is located at the Corporate office.
  • Work is conducted in an open office setting.
