It Operations Administrator-Rock Hill

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Systems Administrator. Individuals who meet the minimum qualifications and are interested in this opportunity should upload a resume when applying online.

The NBT Systems Administrator will be part of the NBT Infrastructure Team which is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining various enterprise-wide systems as well as supporting internal IT partners across the enterprise.

The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing technical support to multiple locations including South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Installing, configuring, testing, and supporting various business applications as well as various business and infrastructure hardware (networking, computers, ATM systems, camera systems, wireless hand-held devices, etc.).

This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology team and relocation to Rock Hill, SC is required.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years related experience with Microsoft server / desktop operating systems and PC hardware required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems. Computer Science or related discipline.
• Ability to travel as needed to supported divisions as well as working weekends/nights as needed.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered.
