• $60,000 to $80,000 Base Salary, depending on experience

This practice operates more than 25 locations throughout the greater Chicagoland area, with their corporate headquarters in Mokena. The new IT Support Specialist will work as needed in the corporate office, also traveling to sites in the Chicago suburbs, with remote (work from home) days as schedules and needs permit.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This organization is experiencing significant growth and seeking an IT Support Specialist to focus on building and updating the IT infrastructure to align with the business’ organizational goals according to standards and objectives set by senior leadership.

This is a newly-created position that will report to the Technical Product Manager.

Among other duties, the IT Support Specialist will:

• Ensure high performance of internet, printing, and other core technology functions
• Ensure all locations are sufficiently equipped with needed technology
• Create support assets (documentation, manuals, and videos) for software tools
• Provide technical support to all offices via email, Slack, phone, and in-person communication
• Perform major incident management to quickly resolve business-impacting issues
• Create incident tickets to document issues
• Coordinate device disposal that ensures adherence to all applicable guidelines
• Perform user account set-up, security maintenance, and systems monitoring
• Order new technologies for offices experiencing growth
• Support desktop / laptop / tablet hardware and software issues with internal applications
• Route tickets to appropriate staff for processing
• Add new devices to the mobile device management system for proper inventory management
• Assist in the repair of malfunctioning devices
• Troubleshoot desktop / laptop / tablet hardware and software issues with internal applications

The responsibilities of the position will allow for some remote work days, but will largely require a presence in the offices in the Chicago suburbs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years IT support experience
• 1+ year healthcare IT experience
• 1+ year experience with EHRs
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
