Job Description

Position Summary

The primary function of this position is to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of servers, desktop systems, networks, the Internet, and other computer technology. Provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software. Install, set up, and test computers and other hardware and software. Train users in various software applications and network-related procedures.

  • Responsible for attending meetings and training as required.
  • Receives and attends incidents and requests.
  • Configures, installs, and updates computers and other devices in response to demands.
  • Provides onsite and remote support.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
  • Identifies troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the Sanitas network, the Internet, PCs, and other technology.
  • Trains end-users on the use and features of the operating systems and applications on the various platforms.
  • Acts proactively to prevent issues.
  • Will use the service manager to log requests; monitor progress, tracks problem resolution, identify patterns of failure, research bug fixes and implement solutions. Communicate with the manager regarding unresolved problems.
  • On-call Shifts
  • Follow department objectives, standards, and procedures.
  • Installs, set-up and troubleshoots network equipment.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Collaboration and productivity tools (Google and/or Office)
  • Computer, devices, network, and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
  • Associates degree with at least two years of coursework in computer sciences.
  • Knowledge of networking and AD environment.
  • Current experience providing technical desktop and network support in a large multi-platform and multi-operating systems environment OR one year of experience and an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certificate OR Comp TIA Certifications.
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology,
