Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team. As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing spam email submissions, reviewing security alerts, managing managed security service provider relationships, managing endpoint protection (crowdstrike), and vulnerability management. The Security Analyst will work with a joint team of Information Technology, Security, Identity, and Infrastructure Engineers to implement, monitor and improve Bob’s Discount Furniture Technology Security Program.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and presentations for IT and Security Management and support security audits
  • Managing the relationship with our managed security service provider (MSSP) to ensure that all security controls are in place and functioning effectively
  • Providing recommendations and guidance to management and IT teams to enhance overall security posture
  • Reviewing spam email submissions to identify any potential security threats
  • Implementing and managing our endpoint protection (crowdstrike) solution to detect and respond to any security threats or attacks
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards in regards to IT security
  • Work with Infrastructure and Networking teams to review processes and implement process improvements and contribute to Risk Based Assessments of Bob’s security program
  • Prepare risk assessments and security authorization documentation
  • Analyzing security alerts to identify and respond to any incidents or breaches
  • Analyze and respond to our ecommerce security alerts, ensuring the security of customer data, and preventing cyber-attacks
  • Participating in incident response activities as needed
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments on our systems and applications to identify and mitigate any security vulnerabilities
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture
Required Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize in a high volume environment with competing demands
  • 2+ years’ technical experience in a related technical field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security related certification a plus
  • Industry related degree is preferred
  • Tools may include: Azure security capabilities, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Crowdstrike, MS Defender, Enterprise firewall, email gateways, Web Application Firewalls (Akamai), etc
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an office environment 40 hours a week
Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
77k - 111k annually
