Job Description

Stefanini Group is looking foran IT Security Analystfor a globally recognized company in Youngstown, OH!

:


  • 6-month contract
  • Onsite
  • W2 Contract


Main activities:

  • Moving existing VLANs and security rules to the new Palo Alto FW following the best practices and governance defined by the Global SEC
  • Manage firewalls (Palo Alto) and its rules
  • Support the network team on related firewall/access issues
  • Support the business by creating new access rules
  • Write documentation and network diagrams
  • Ensure security review of the existing access rules with Local Security Officer
  • Transfer skills and knowledge to other team members

Technical Skills:

  • Network Security: ACL, IPsec, VPN, GRE
  • Network Management: Network Troubleshooting, SSH, ICMP
  • Network switch administration: Cisco network switches
  • Firewalls: Cisco ASA Appliances, Palo Alto
  • Routing Protocols: BGP

Professional Experience:

  • Redistribution among BGP routing policies
  • IT Network and Security: Configuration, Optimization, Upgrades, Troubleshooting, Security, Routing
  • Centralized management system (Panorama) for firewalls management process
  • Migration from Cisco ASA/ACL to PA Firewalls NG security rules
  • Palo Alto Firewall management, PCNSE is a plus
  • DMZ zoning & configuration of VLANs/Routing/NAT with firewalls
