Intro and job overview:
The project coordinator is an entry level position reporting into the IT Program Management Office who will work alongside a program manager to ensure the project is moving forward smoothing and on time. You will organize and communicate details of programs and tasks assigned to cross functional team members and serve as a liaison between each program manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organize and plan meetings with program manager
- Work to improve the program process
- Assign new program tasks
- Record minutes and take detailed notes during meetings
- Keep track of all project-related documents in a centralized location (teams channel)
- Arrange and manage team goals, program schedules, and new information; keep all material up to date
- Monitor current programs and coordinate all team members involved to keep workflow on track
- Strategize with program manager when needed
- Track and analyze program risks and recommend improvements
- Communicate timeline changes and new information to team; track program changes and adjust schedules as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
- PMP Certification a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, business, administration, or related field
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
