SUMMARY

CBTS is searching for an IT Production Analyst who supports and maintains the IT systems that integrate to a partially automated assembly line, which installs tires on wheels, tests them, and prepares shipments to the customer. Support and maintain the front office IT systems that are required for basic office work. Implement new software, features and configurations that support plant and customer requirements. Aids the rest of the corporate team with IT tasks as needed.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain installation, configuration and maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Manage the Production IT portion of all customer projects associated with your plant.
  • Verifying integrity and availability of database systems
  • Assist with supporting and configuring the onsite database servers
  • Execute projects for the plant to install software, change software configurations, and implement new features in existing software. These implementations will involve Server configuration changes, integration application updates, UI/UX updates, and database integrations
  • Provide on-site technical support, investigate and troubleshoot, issues for end-users
  • Manage your own work and projects using modern project management tools
  • Assist the infrastructure team in configuring system software that supports infrastructure applications or production applications per project or operational needs
  • Troubleshoot service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends
  • Support Python production-based IT software systems.
  • Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • Participate in a hotline rotation, which requires you to provide 24-7 hotline support during the week you are assigned to the hotline.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Production teams to complete process improvement projects to meet both customer and internal needs
  • Ensure operation of all production systems
  • Support IT hardware systems on the plant floor. These systems include thick clients, thin clients, zero clients, label printers, and mounting hardware
  • Collaborate with IT team to learn systems, and complete ad hoc/project work
  • Assist in repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures in relation to printers, laptops, desktops, and desktop applications
  • Review system and application logs
  • Assist the infrastructure team in supporting front office software, hardware and peripherals, including PCs, printers, faxes, copiers, servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, cell phones, desk phones, UPS, etc.
  • Perform daily system monitoring:



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (4-year) degree with a technical major, such as Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4 - 6 years high level technical support, implementation or development experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and administering MSSQL Databases
  • Experience in troubleshooting PCs, printers, cell phones, desk phones, wireless access points, switches, routers, and other network devices and connectivity
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server 2008 or Server 2012 administration experience
  • 2-3 Years of experience as a Python Applications Developer
