It Manager Jobs

We are seeking an organized, efficient IT manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all information technology within the organization. You will interact and coordinate IT requirements internally and with the assistance of the third-party firm to carry out the support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions. You will also lead the development team, serving as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of each stage.

IT Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts
• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action
• Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner
• Produce detailed timelines and implement effective project control for each software release
• Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions with the completion timeline
• Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems
• Install hardware and peripheral components
• Direct research in emerging technology by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
• Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans
• Administer email and anti-virus systems

IT Manager Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the information technology
• Experience in the most current technologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
