This position will work in our IT department. The focus will be in project management, daily work assignments with RailWorks’ Support Desk, and networking groups as well as general software solution implementations.

a) Will interact daily with the IT Support Desk and both the Director Telecom & Networking Services and Director of Infrastructure Services. He will also interact with the broader RailWorks user community.

b) Intern will receive his day to day direction from the Director of Telecom & Networking Services

c) In addition to the Projects noted above intern will be attached to the overall IT Support Desk effort and will handle User support tickets in selected categories

a) Effectively operate as a member of a centralized support team

b) Learn techniques related to troubleshooting and issue resolution including effective customer service

c) Exposure to a number of internal Software tools used to support day to day activities

d) Conduct relevant research related to various Security initiatives

e) Interaction with an external 3rd party vendor
