Job Title: IT Facility Analyst

Location: Remote / EST Hours

Job-Type: Contract (Long term)

Role Overview:

The IT Facility Analyst will be responsible for conducting site surveys in order to assess newly acquired sites IT assets, build a future state map/floor plan, and equipment list. This resource will be mapping out sites low voltage, network closets, and workstations. This role focuses on supporting the clients mergers and acquisitions to ensure sites are meeting company standards, minimizing interruptions to Operations, and improving facility safety, security, comfort and efficiency and align with the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to decide where to place low voltage network
• Host meetings with practice manager and project manager to assess current office state and evaluate required equipment needed for addition, removal, or replacement
• Design the floor plan and placement of network closet to determine where phone lines, data lines, and workstations need to be placed
• Provide documentation for reference by boots on the ground resources to place new jacks and set up workstations
• Document endpoint deployments based on floor map
• Plan and coordinate the IT infrastructure and work stations for newly acquired sites across the country
• Assess the network closet and plan floor map accordingly
• Coordinate with practice manager and project manager to build an equipment list (desktops, laptops, phones, etc.)
• Evaluate condition and determine the necessary network and voltage needed

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Productivity suite (Teams, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)
• Strong understanding of low voltage, desktop deployment, & endpoint deployment
• Experience utilizing design software (Draw.IO, Visio, Paint, LucidChart, SmartDraw, etc.)
• Experience working in a mergers and acquisitions environment
• Previous experience working hands on in an IT environment
• Superb organization skills
• Strong understanding of networking (low voltage, network closets, etc.)
