Job Description
Job Title: IT Asset Management Analyst


Location: Remote (Preferred location for candidates are Chicago, San Francisco, and Cedar Rapids.)


Duration: 3 months


Allocation (hrs./wk): 40 hrs./wk


Position Overview: This individual will monitor and lead property performance and maximize revenue for clients by providing detailed oversight of value-add plans through directing property management, leasing, financial analysis, construction and rehab projects and valuation, of an assigned portfolio of assets. A strong emphasis on multi-family investments.



Responsibilities: Establish an accretive business plan and investment strategy with the objective of maximizing property income, cash flow and long-term value.


  • Participate in the underwriting and coordination of assets to evaluate a purchase and/or sale. Underwrite and produce valuations for active investments within the portfolio to support compliance monitoring and decision-making activities.
  • Forecast income and expense projections, capital requirements, risk-return analysis and hold/sell recommendations.
  • Lead construction projects, including drawers, construction consultants and working with general contractors.
  • Perform property inspections to ensure viability, prudent operational performance, fiscal management, and document recommendations into the final review report.
  • Oversee and monitor the rehab/redevelopment process and exit strategy, ensure compliance with loan documents and agreements.
  • Lead sales process of asset, including hold/sell analysis, Broker selection, negotiations of Purchase & Sale Agreement, and negotiations with Buyer through close.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate reporting to the team and investors to aid in the overall management of the portfolio. Review and interpret legal documents, such as loan agreements, guarantees, and promissory notes, and coordinate with appropriate parties to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze rent rolls, vacancy and turnover information, affordability profiles and financial operating statements.
  • Facilitate the marketing and leasing strategies for assigned properties. Monitor and evaluate financial performance of assigned assets and address nonperformance and legal issues related to the property.
  • Assist in creating, identifying, maintaining or reporting on sustainability or ESG initiatives.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in commercial real estate or finance field, or equivalent experience in asset management or property management.
  • Five or more years of experience in one or a combination of the following: commercial real estate, multi-family investment experience, asset management, underwriting, lending, or workout strategies.


Preferred Qualifications


  • CCIM, CPM or MBA.
  • Multi-family value-add.
  • Experience with Yardi.
  • Experience in market rate and affordable multi-family investments. Experience working in the creating of, identifying, maintaining or reporting on sustainability or ESG initiatives.
  • Experience in creating and presenting cash flow models, hold/sell analysis and valuation models.
