Job Description

Role Summary:

Zeus is looking for an IT Business Relationship Manager to become a key member of our growing IT team in Philadelphia, PA. You will closely work with the CIO to support various projects, identify business needs, and propose IT solutions to evaluate a client's existing components and ensure that final solutions meet organizational needs. You will collaborate with partners and senior leaders across the firm, making an impact by guiding and influencing results.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem analysis capabilities
  • Proven track record and flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic and deadline-focused environment
  • Drives external contractors and Technology vendors to adhere to schedules and deliver on commitments to the program
  • Works on complete issues using insights from data for decision-making
  • Ability to get results with a sense of urgency and influence program team members across various levels of leadership
  • Executes projects using Agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban
  • Influences both technology teams and business leadership to adhere to agreed project outcomes and schedules, and transforms inefficient business processes, while adopting a new technology
  • Participates and/or may lead project management process improvement and best practice assignments
  • Critical thinking with focus on execution and quality of outcomes
  • Manages planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution of IT roadmap. Solves project issues and risks (technical and non-technical) through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication and mediation
  • Proven ability to develop and summarize clear messages into executive communications and presentations, using sophisticated PowerPoint skills
  • Directs the project from initiation through implementation and go-live, planning and directing schedules that complete on time, within scope, and budget, meeting and/or exceeding quality standards
  • Experience with UML design
  • Developing solutions that tackle user problems
  • General data analytics using Excel in support of key performance indicators and metrics

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategic programs within the time, resource and budget constraints and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
  • Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume and critical production service environment
  • 8+ years of previous supervisory/management experience as a leader in the IT PMO
  • Solid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment, including 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech corporate environment with multi-function teams
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
  • PMP preferred
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
  • BA/BS in Information Security/ Computer Science.
  • Balanced business/technical background
  • Works well with peers and team members to build a stronger team both inside and outside the assigned area of responsibility
