Job Description
Overview:
TMR, Inc. is looking for an Entry to Junior level Information Technology Assistant, to support the Corporate Office, who has a Bachelors’ Degree in a technical or related field or a minimum of 3 years IT Customer Support and Help Desk experience (with Sharepoint preferred). The ideal candidate will be interested in continuing to grow their skills in the IT industry and gaining valuable experience and exposure to the newest technology.
Responsibilities:
Support the IT Manager in the maintenance of hardware, software, back office technical support and with other systems.
  • Assist in cloud environments and remote networking
  • Assist with research on new and existing projects.
  • Assist HQ staff with technical issues/updates
  • Attend department meetings and learn to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Review processes and update documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers, and servers.
  • Assist with rolling out new technologies, software updates, including implementing new cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Desktop Apps, Network Security, or Azure
  • Must be comfortable with assisting the back office staff directly and/or virtually
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hourly rate is $16 (based on experience)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose noncomplex to mildly complex hardware/software problems
  • Position is Hybrid
  • Must have High School Diploma and 3 years of relevant IT experience or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field and 1 year IT experience.
  • United States citizenship: (In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire)
  • Must have strong customer service skills. Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Must have experience with Office 365 (SharePoint)
  • A self-starter who is willing to take initiative.
