Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Junior/Assistant IT Project Manager to support our FDIC contract. Once hired you will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with day-to-day activities in support of FDIC.

You will also be responsible for the following:
  • Conduct import/export reviews for acquiring systems and software.
  • Support budget, staffing, and contractual performance of project work
  • Assist in developing system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance to foster continual improvement.
  • Review service performance reports identifying any significant issues and variances, initiating, where necessary, corrective actions and ensuring that all outstanding issues are followed up.
  • Help the Program Manager ensure that system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements are included in contract language and delivered.
  • Help the Program Manager ensure that appropriate Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and underpinning contracts have been defined that clearly set out for the customer a description of the service and the measures for monitoring the service.
  • Coordinate the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end.
  • Act as a stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction and monitor all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts related to specific projects.
  • Ensure that all acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing efforts address information security requirements consistent with organization goals.
  • Review or conduct audits of information technology (IT) projects.
  • Manage the internal relationship with information technology (IT) process owners supporting the project, assisting with the definition and agreement of Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support.
  • Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
  • Work with other service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.
  • Participate in the acquisition process as necessary.
  • Provide recommendations for possible improvements and upgrades to specific projects.
  • Identify and address cyber workforce planning and management issues (e.g. recruitment, retention, and training).

Qualifications:
  • Ability to pass background check with an emphasis on personal finances.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiations, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Some experience in implementation and delivery of services based on NIST 800 series publications as listed in each applicable Task Order SOW is desirable.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of client-specific work flow processes in the applicable Task Order SOW requirement area.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing Security Services Support in the U.S. Federal Government.
  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical IT field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
