Work you’ll do
Support of the formulation of Employee Engagment program strategy and development of plans for new programs, including, but not limited to, the implementation of departmental and Agency DEIA strategic plans:
  • Gap analyses of existing EE programs
  • Analysis of EE-related policies (e.g., DEIA-related Executive Orders) for their impact on EE programs and actions, as well as the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of steps to be taken/having been taken by EE in consequence
  • Development of new EE programs and initiatives to support EE goals and mission
  • Coordination of all efforts with applicable stakeholders
  • Analysis of the full range of EE Data (e.g., survey data)
  • Evaluation of EE programs for lessons learned and best practices
  • Analysis of industry best practices (e.g., private sector vs. federal government employee engagement programs, overcoming burnout to create resilient teams, high-performing teams, leadership best practices, shifting from managing to leading, supporting supervisors to create cultural change within their teams, technology – tools to support employee engagement) to determine those that can be adopted
  • Support of the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs accessible at the Agency, division, and subdivision level
  • Develop documentation, templates, and operating procedures for the standardization and management of EE initiatives, programs, and activities
  • Design, development, implementation, and evaluation of EE Action Plans and Strategic Plans

Qualifications
Required:
  • 10 years of professional full time work experience in I/O Psychology related to Employee Engagement programs
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
  • 2 years of professional work experience at a Fortune 500 company/client
  • 2 years of professional work experience working with survey data analysis tools
  • 2 years of professional work experience creating or implementing process improvement plans
  • 2 years of professional work experience creating or implementing corporate communications plans
  • Ability to travel 5-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Master’s degree required

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in Industrial and/or Organizational Psychology aka I/O Psychology
  • Ability to perform work in Eastern Standard Time hours
  • 5 years of full-time professional consulting experience creating/implementing Employee Engagement programs at Fortune 500 firms
  • 1 year of full-time professional consulting experience for government clients
  • Highly motivated to identify ways to add value to products and materials, and to troubleshoot challenges.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering status updates on fast-moving projects with little direction

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103k to $171k. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
