We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Earthmoving Division as Inventory Manager.

As an Inventory Manager, you will lead a team driving specific objectives at Earthmoving facilities related to product supply, availability, and inventory management. It requires working with facilities and business partners throughout the organization, including Operations/Supply Chain Managers at machine plants, Machine Product Groups, Procurement, Caterpillar component facilities as well as leaders throughout the Earthmoving Division. Inventory Management expertise is critical to Earthmoving Division and product availability is required to meet the marketplace needs, which differentiates Caterpillar from its competition. Incumbent plays a key role in maintaining this strength and delivering this service and expertise to Earthmoving division partners, dealers, and customers.

Specifically in this role you can expect to:

• Leads facility execution reporting, identifying/driving visibility to key issues, and driving action plans to resolution.
• Build divisional level dashboards and analytics to summarize network health and key decisions required to improve network function and meet availability requirements.
• Manage required levels of product availability and inventory turns.
• Directs inventory management staff to achieve product availability and inventory turns targets by managing Earthmoving facility supply chain inventory levels within the network.
• Provide new analysis tools, working with partner sources of supply, expediting material and advising and directing division/partner management teams on initiatives to improve inventory and product availability

To be successful in this role, you must bring (Basic qualifications):

• Previous Leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related Supply Chain / Manufacturing discipline
• 8+ years of job-related experience
• Previous Supply Chain / Inventory management experience

• Advanced degree
• Previous experience working with Product Groups and Facilities
• Solid ERP/MRP systems / data and analytics
• APICs / ISM Supply Chain Certification
