Your responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, coaches, and monitors a cycle count team.
- Maintains KPI’s for inventory accuracy, counts completed, root cause.
- Plans for and leads regular cycle counts of inventory materials.
- Develops and implements inventory control procedures.
- Provides root cause analysis of discrepancies to recommend preventative measures.
- Reviews and analyzes daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes.
- Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
- Acts as a super user for SAP Warehouse Management system.
- Works with material planners to ensure inventory levels are accurate at vendor managed locations.
- Drives and follows up on measures for improvement of inventory accuracy with Warehouse Management and Supervisors.
- Analyzes and runs reports in SAP to determine piece count accuracy.
- Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
- Prepares for and executes an annual physical inventory of all materials in the Bilstein Fulfillment Center and plant location.
- Maintains and improves ABC cycle counting program.
Your profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used warehouse and inventory control processes.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal effectiveness skills and demonstrated flexibility in working with all levels of management and employees.
- Considerable experience working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) with knowledge and familiarity with Warehouse Management (parts) and Inventory Management modules.
- Self-directed; makes timely decisions with the information available.
- Considerable experience maintaining high inventory accuracy through various techniques including inventory audits, annual physical inventory, and cycle counting.
- Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.
- Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers.
- Proven strong analytical skills, including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing effective resolutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams in situations associated with high volumes of work and/or customer demands. This would include providing direction, coaching, and effective feedback to team members.
- Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience performing relevant mathematical tasks, and analyze large pools of data accurately and efficiently.
- Proven skills organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
