ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs periodic cycle counting to assure accurate inventorycounts supplies and adjusts inventor as needed to maintain accurate count.
Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into computer system, delivers to using departments or other facilities. reports/documents errors and damages to appropriate management
Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk up window in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
Processes outgoing mail
Covers other departmental functions as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent Required. Proof of higher education to serve as equivalent,
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
