Inventory Control Manager Jobs

We are immediately seeking a full-time Inventory Controls Manager to join our client's team, located near the Columbus, Ohio area. This is a Direct Hire role.

The inventory control manager will lead a team that continuously audits for accuracy and manages all facets of inventory control. This role will serve as the customer’s direct point of contact and act as a catalyst for change. This position is a key member of the Fulfillment Center leadership team and will report on-site to the Facility GM.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and react to changes in client preferences, requests and forecasts.
• Manage expiration date and shelf life rules periodically and routine month-end reporting.
• Manage and conduct client full physical inventory requests.
• Create and publish daily reporting.
• Manage and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory adjustments, transfers, destroys, cycle counts, and quarantine transactions.
• Manage inventory/order management system consisting of thousands of SKU’s to ensure inventory and product accuracy.
• Day-to-day client inventory management.
• Manage customer correspondence via email or phone including inventory and product questions, complaints, etc

Experience:

• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to effectively research and become an expert about various products, processes or topics.
• Excellent computer proficiency and speed in general tasks such as typing, online research and data entry.
• Analytical, the ability to analyze transaction history daily to identify root cause.
• Dependable.
• Able to receive detailed instructions and execute tasks with speed and accuracy.
• A positive, helpful and friendly demeanor when confronted with difficult situation.
• Super-fast responsiveness to customer needs for service and assistance.
• Able to work on one’s own; self-starter; innovator and catalyst for change.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• Experience in maintaining inventory and/or order management systems equivalent to Oracle and WMS solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Able to maintain detailed records and databases.
• Proven record of excellent customer service.
• An expert’s grasp of Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.).
