Job Description

Position Summary

Provide support to the Senior Director, International Division, and the Senior Vice President, Global. Assist the Senior Director in planning and executing ACSI events for international schools worldwide. Assist the Senior Vice President in conducting services to the Global National team around the world.

This is a remote position; work will be performed from a home office.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities - International Schools (90%)

  • Review and assist in planning of transportation, housing, meals, event venue preparation; review venue contracts; work closely with local host committees and venue operators
  • Support virtual Professional Development creation and dissemination and assist members in accessing all platforms with clear communications and support
    • Post asynchronous PFO2Go course content on LMS according to best practice
    • Support and build live, synchronous Professional Development mobiles apps to enhance delegate experience and learning
    • Support the Senior Director with live zoom calls with various constituencies
    • Consult with ACSI OCE team to disseminate/market events that have wide international applicability
  • Support the Senior Director with live zoom calls with various constituencies
  • Answer emails and other communications in a timely manner
  • Maintain working knowledge of all services and benefits provided to international schools and be prepared to assist as needed; assist with membership annual drive and questions throughout the year
  • Support and build live, synchronous Professional Development mobiles apps to enhance delegate experience and learning
  • Registration creation and testing and support; event communication and marketing; event webpage creation and maintenance
  • Maintain International webpages for accuracy, timeliness, and useability; monitor and assist in moderating the International Community Group pages and International social media presence
  • International School Website and Tech Support
    • Maintain and manage member data system, web reporting, and data tracking; address and resolve issues in ACSI Protech member database including member data, registrations; keep queries up to date and create new queries as needed
    • Work with ACSI IT Department to maintain standards on International/Global needs and web presence
    • Maintain International webpages for accuracy, timeliness, and useability; monitor and assist in moderating the International Community Group pages and International social media presence
    • Function as the International arm of the ACSI CareTeam
  • Post asynchronous PFO2Go course content on LMS according to best practice
  • Monitor event invoices and payments from initiation to wrap-up
  • Maintain and manage member data system, web reporting, and data tracking; address and resolve issues in ACSI Protech member database including member data, registrations; keep queries up to date and create new queries as needed
  • Plan and execute International Professional Development events from initiation to post-event wrap-up including international teacher conferences, leader conferences, boarding conferences, Pre-Field Orientation, and job fairs
    • Review and assist in planning of transportation, housing, meals, event venue preparation; review venue contracts; work closely with local host committees and venue operators

    • Monitor event invoices and payments from initiation to wrap-up
  • Member Communications
    • Maintain working knowledge of all services and benefits provided to international schools and be prepared to assist as needed; assist with membership annual drive and questions throughout the year
    • Assist Senior Director with monthly newsletter, other general communications, and member research surveys and polls
    • Answer emails and other communications in a timely manner
  • Assist Senior Director with monthly newsletter, other general communications, and member research surveys and polls
  • Function as the International arm of the ACSI CareTeam
  • Consult with ACSI OCE team to disseminate/market events that have wide international applicability
  • Work with ACSI IT Department to maintain standards on International/Global needs and web presence

  • Organize and schedule regular Global Team meetings
  • Regularly communicate with the Senior Director and Senior Vice President for efficient planning
  • Global Department Administrative Support
    • Keep the international travel calendar up to date
    • Organize and schedule regular Global Team meetings
  • Maintain the documentation of files related to the standards for Global Offices
  • Keep the international travel calendar up to date
  • Monitor and assist in moderating the Global Community Group pages
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Communications
    • Maintain accurate contact information for all Global personnel and offices
    • Distribute pertinent information and announcements to members of the Global team
    • Track and follow-up on communications and requests from Global offices
    • Coordinate data collection for office surveys and reports
    • Maintain the documentation of files related to the standards for Global Offices

  • Global National Website and Tech Support
    • Maintain Global National webpage for accuracy, timeliness, and useability
    • Monitor and assist in moderating the Global Community Group pages

Compensation and Benefits

Starting Salary Range: $48,600 - $53,636 annually; based on work experience, education, training, knowledge, skills, and internal and external equity.

Employees may choose from benefits including HDHP and copay medical plans, dental, vision, health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, health savings account, 403b retirement plan, and supplemental life and disability insurance. Required Experience and Education

  • Disciplined time management skills; flexible and supportive of all job assignments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field
  • Integrity in dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to build and maintain event mobile apps
  • Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple projects in a timely manner with limited supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Initiative in creating and implementing event planning processes and systems for advertising, fee establishment, venue research and selection, planning timelines, information management, liaison relationships
  • Organizational skills for detailed project assignments and large-scale event organization
  • Four or more years of administrative experience in an office, school, or professional environment; event planning experience preferred
  • Prior international experience and knowledge of international schools is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat (Adobe Pro, Reader)
  • Ability maintain data in a CRM system and in cloud-based event management systems
  • Website editing skills or ability to learn

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
  • Driver’s License required to be kept current and in effect as a condition of employment
