Position Location: Austin,TX

Position Summary: The Internal Communications Specialist will support the creation of TEL US Internal Communications Strategy, executing projects from initial concepting to final delivery and follow-up to ensure achievement of key performance indicators. This position will be the primary role in delivering day to day communication to inform and engage our US employees and contractor population. Company and department understanding, audience awareness, storytelling, writing, channel management, and project management are key elements of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with management, business units, and sales to understand communication needs and objectives and proposes solutions that are appropriate for message and audience
• Support Marcom with writing, reviewing and editing a variety of internal communications materials including blogs, digital signage, PC lockscreens, emails, conference collateral and special events.
• Co-develop and support the implementation of strategic programs to increase brand visibility, public relations, related business objectives and protect the corporate brand
• May design and implement measurements to analyze messaging program effectiveness and quantify impact/results
• Develops, enhances and revises communications collateral for web, print or other media channels
• Plans, develops and implements messaging for promotion of internal awareness campaigns and management communications
• May function as editor for formal business communications and facilitate internal communications forums and events

Qualifications:

• 3- 5 years of experience in similar field preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism
• Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Creative thinker and willingness to communicate ideas
• Excellent communications skills – both written and oral
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
