The Manager, Internal Communications will serve as a key member of the RWE Corporate Communications team and will report to the Senior Director, Internal Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal communications processes in the Corporate Communications area at RWE Clean Energy (RWECE).
Responsibilities:

• Advise operating locations and specialist departments on best practices of internal communications
• Assist with implementing and maintaining the internal communications component of the team’s content calendar and ensure high-quality communication deliverables are prepared on time
• Organize internal events such as lunch & learns town halls
• Follow the process for the strategic development of English language internal communications and their international alignment for posting on defined channels monitoring and quality management of the content on respective channels
• Support the planning, preparation, and implementation of internal communication measures in line with RWE's communication strategy with a special focus on the business in the Americas (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile)
• Design, write and determine channel strategy for internal communications content as well as speeches and presentations for Executive Board members and top management

Qualifications:

• Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Graphic Design and video editing preferred
• Extensive experience in the management of complex projects (interdisciplinary and international) from conception to implementation of internal communication campaigns and measures
• Ability to pivot quickly and work in an international, fast-paced, heavy deadline-driven work environment
• Minimum 5 years of e xperience working in Internal Communications with excellent writing (Associated Press Style), editing, and presentation skills required, 8+ years of experience preferred
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite required with proficiency in Teams
• Experience with energy topics highly preferred
• Relevant degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York is $102,400 - $153,600. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
