Job Summary

The Internal Account Manager is an inside sales position responsible for overseeing a portfolio of independent wireless store owners. This positions requires excellent customer service by managing dealer relationships, solving dealer issues and promoting the products/services and ability to close sales over the phone. The Internal Account Manager is responsible for making outbound calls to accounts and to provide information by using a consultative and strategic approach to communicate with our partners (business owners).


Role and Responsibilities

  • Field, manage and resolve day to day store owner challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Makes outbound calls on a scheduled basis to communicate current offers, updates and promotions available to customers
  • Collect and analyze account data
  • Ability to sell solutions to our business owners to help increase their overall profitability
  • Serve as an advocate and liaison internally to effectively communicate and coordinate customer needs (commission, inventory management, shipping, orders, etc.)
  • Introduce new products and marketing initiatives in an effort to increase sales within the assigned customer base
  • Deliver a consultative and strategic approach to customer engagement in wireless equipment, marketing initiatives and airtime payments
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a phone-based sales or customer service environment
  • 2 years of experience in Account Management and/or Relationship Management (Highly Preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in the Wireless Industry (Highly Preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in B2B Sales (Required)

Preferred Skills

  • Sales in retail or wholesale
  • NetSuite
  • Communication skills (listening, verbal, oral and written)
  • Organizational skills
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)

Working Conditions

  • Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week
  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. pounds occasionally
