Our client’s Interim Compensation Analyst Consultants will research job requirements and evaluate job positions across the industry to ensure they are offering competitive salaries and benefits. Successful Consultants will be able to accomplish a variety of tasks ranging from preparing and maintaining job descriptions for each position in the organization, to gathering and documenting job, organizational, and occupational information for each job including duties, responsibilities, and skills.
- Ad hoc projects as needed
- Partner with the Compensation Manager to implement findings from a Pay Equity Analysis
- Own the job architecture project to map current US job titles to new global grade structure
- Ensure data and compensation plans are tracked accordingly in HRIS
- Perform various analyses and data management in support of compensation programs
- Perform job description analysis and classification
- Coordinate with HR managers to educate employees on compensation plans and changes
- Assist with preparation of compensation plans
- Review, analyze, and recommend changes to current compensation plans
- Provide support, analysis, and execution of projects around compensation structure, job description classification, and survey data analysis
- Ensure that compensation reports, analyses and calculations are accurate
- Analyze compensation survey data
- Review and analyze market pricing
- Manage, track, report, and analyze compensation data
- Collaborate with managers and HRBPs on a variety of compensation related projects
- Ability to educate HRBPs and leaders on pay philosophy and explain the “whys”
- Experience with Market Pay (for salary survey) preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with HR databases and compensation management systems
- Strong Compensation philosophies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of tact, accountability, and professional maturity for handling confidential compensation information
- Demonstrated track record in taking initiative, working independently, and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge in Compensation best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data and information to small and large groups
- Ability to manage, analyze, and manipulate data
- Financial analysis and statistical skills
- Must be detail and process oriented with demonstrated excellence in quality and accuracy
