Insurance Software and BPS Corporate Events Coordinator
The Customer Community Manager will govern and drive the effectiveness of our customer community events. This includes developing and executing process optimization and working with leaders throughout the organization to ensure a customer-first focus. The role will help drive a world-class experience for our customer events and be a proven leader with success across three key areas: strategy & planning, community building and event production. The role will work extensively in a cross functional environment to partner with marketing, communication, business leaders, and sales leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a background in operational excellence, a bias toward action, is excited by the idea of supporting a world class team, exemplifies a customer-first focus, and thrives in a bold, fast-moving, transparent environment.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Assist with venue selection, negotiating contracts and date choices
- Overseeing event delivery - both physical and virtual with end-to-end accountability for operational management of all events including customer journeys and improving onsite experience
- Maximizing the profitability, sustainability, and quality of each event through effective procurement
- Managing end-to-end delivery of events each year of varying size, format, and complexity across a range of geographies
- Responsible for risk and compliance at events - ensure security plans are adhered to and that each event has a full risk assessment (including risks to consider around the return to live events)
- Manage events onsite including management of onsite staff
- Project managing events and control costs to deliver within budget
- Manage ad-hoc projects, both departmental and event related
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience/knowledge creating and understanding business processes
- At least three years of experience managing b2b events and working in a corporate environment
- Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
- Experience in building and scaling large customer or member communities in-person and virtually
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred (combination of education and experience will also be considered in the absence of a degree)
- Extensive and proven experience producing in-person events, concept, planning, production, execution, and reconciliation
- Self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for excellence, always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
Other Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Good presentation skills to present to management
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good leadership skills to coordinate, oversee and lead team/project members
- Self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for excellence, always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
- Good personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Willingness to travel – up to 10% (may include international travel)
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

- Virtual environment, remote within the US
