Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is a sales professional responsible for uncovering opportunities with new prospects and existing customers and driving sales growth through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. They will work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify new sales opportunities, and will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers, and for achieving individual and team sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process and customer behavior. They will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and have a proven track record of success in achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Manage and directly execute all sales cycle activities from qualification to close for appropriate opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Source expansion sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails and lead follow-up from inbound calls.
- Collaborate with the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure of opportunities beyond the scope of Inside Sales.
Education & Experience
- Proven ability to conduct efficient pre-call target research.
- Organized, efficient and self-motivated.
- Track record meeting/exceeding quota.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of proven ISR experience or 2+ years in a BDR role at a growth SaaS company in a primarily outbound environment.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Strong phone presence and volume calling experience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Compensation
Annual base salary gross:$40k-55k plus variable USD Annual. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Company's contemplated salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographic location. The salary is one component of Company's total compensation package for employees.
