We have an exciting opportunity as an Inside Sales Representative!

The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to know and build a professional rapport with sales contacts at our Wholesaler’s Downstream Accounts. Through a mix of telesales, cold calling, and administrative duties, the ISR is responsible for growing current sales and increasing new distribution through information based & relationship building sales contacts. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) are responsible for thoughtfully executing sales call cycles to support our Wholesale Partner programs, keeping excellent sales notes, executing flawless follow up with sales contacts, and keeping updated profile information on our changing customer base. Our promise is to cover all sales that are not covered by our field sales counterparts, and the ISRs help us to flow those sales efficiently through our Wholesale Partners. Our focus is to make sure each sale is a fit for both the client and the customer and we do that best by knowing our customers well and engaging with them often. ISRs primarily communicate via phone and should be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, interpreting sales materials, executing against Business Plans for our clients/customers, and performing administrative functions such as submitting purchase orders, filling out retailer specific forms, ordering samples, and other assignments as needed. Weekly call minimums are part of the job duties. These call minimums are established by the Inside Sales Manager and may differ from week to week depending on the needs of our clients. Meeting and exceeding these minimums are essential to maintaining good standing and continued employment.

Overview of daily activities:

  • Connect with all customers assigned to you by phone to build a rapport and profile of their business.
  • Utilize customer profile to pair new and deeper opportunities for currently carried brands and product growth within current customers.
  • Utilize customer profile to proactively build up new business at current customers, highlighting thoughtful business opportunities across full client base.
  • Review, understand, and perform call cycles with assigned customers.
  • Complete all weekly call minimums, duties, and projects as assigned by the Manager.
  • Log calls for weekly minimums in single system for group reference. Call minimums must consistently be met and exceeded to maintain employment.
  • Assist in answering questions and in gathering backup for deductions as needed.
  • Have in depth knowledge of order checking and submittal process and be able to execute and assist with these duties.
  • Maintain proficient level knowledge of all client brands, logistics, and product updates.
  • Utilize tools, such as the company website, to source sales support materials to supplement selling to customers.
  • Assist in creation and update of sales materials as needed.
  • Have specialized knowledge, training, and the ability to execute on specific Client or Brand lines as need be
  • Execute on special projects/call cycles as assigned by Manager.
  • Execute on follow up for all assigned customers during and after trade events. Follow tradeshow follow up process and log all contact in single reference system.
  • Meet all deadlines as assigned by Manager. Funnel all projects and deadlines from staff or clients to Inside Sales Manager.
  • Respond to all information and administrative requests within 24 hours of receipt. Intermediate communications should always be used to keep the requesting party updated on progress, especially if timelines run long or outside of deadlines.
  • Review and complete vendor forms, new item forms, and any other retailer required forms to move business forward or to effect changes on the customer side. Any form that requires a signature should be reviewed internally by the Inside Sales Manager, and then sent on for review and signature by the client and/or company representative
  • Always exhibit superior customer service and communication while working with all departments, clients, & customers.
  • Initiate and support constant enhancements of website tools and the Inside Sales business process.
  • Conduct webcasts and conference calls when necessary
  • Complete all other duties assigned by Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Hours:

  • Training will be conducted virtually during the hours of Monday-Friday from 6 am to 2:30pm, MOUNTAIN TIME
  • Hours will be scheduled between 6:00am-6:00pm MOUNTAIN TIME, Monday-Friday. Must be available to work any time within this schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education 4-year College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience 3+ Years of relevant sales experience
  • Background check required
