Inside Sales Representative Jobs

Summary
At Dixie Construction Products, the dedicated Counter Sales Representative is accountable for assisting customers and our outside sales reps by providing pricing and other information as needed, both in person and over the phone, while maintaining the company standards of excellent customer service. They will also be required to handle special orders and advanced pricing.
Duties

• Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Receive inter-office inventory transfers, verify quantities and put stock in its proper location.
• Create accurate and complete sales tickets.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, and provide customer follow-ups.
• Greet and assist walk-in customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Input customer orders and any additional data as needed into the computer system.
• Handle telephone calls, write orders, resolve problems, and relay any information for those individuals.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• Knowledge of power tools, building materials, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry.
• Good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator and cash register.
