Job Description
Independent Contractor Needed - Frontend Developer


Location: Remote

Position Type: Independent Contractor (paid hourly; $30-80/hour based on experience)

Duration: up to 120 days

Assignment Details:
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring excellent performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, following best practices and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and refine project requirements, user stories, and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to iterate on product features, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using the latest frontend technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
  • Implement intuitive and efficient user interfaces that align with the project's UX/UI goals, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, and the ability to translate design wireframes into responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of their core principles and common design patterns.
  • Experience working with Python and integrating frontend applications with AWS services.
  • (Preferred) Experience or interest in UX and design principles, with the ability to work closely with designers to achieve optimal user experiences.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
