Implementation Engineer Jobs

This is a remote position.

Summary: The Implementation Engineer at Mach7 performs the technical implementation of Mach7 products, including installation, upgrades, system configuration, testing, and go-live support. They also act as a technical subject matter expert and primary resource for the Project Manager and will work closely with them to complete the technical implementation portion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure project documents are completed correctly and stored according to Mach7 Quality Management guidelines.
• Reporting of relevant project information and risks to the Project Manager and the Director of Services.
• Effectively convey information in both written and verbal communications to vendors, customers, and project team members.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Manage multiple enterprise software implementations concurrently.
• Perform installation, configuration, and validation of Mach 7 solutions remotely as part of the Professional Services project team.
• Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends, identify business opportunities for the organization and demonstrate financial awareness.
• Follow change management processes and communicate effectively with the customer and project team members on scheduled updates, operational impact, and system downtime.
• Provide initial customer assistance and gradually transition the customer to the Support Team for ongoing routine support.
• Communicate, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion to the appropriate resources
• Manage customer data migrations of DICOM data and HL7 reports using Mach7’s toolkit

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Microsoft SQL or PostGres Database experience strongly preferred.
• Five to seven years implementing medical imaging systems is required, preferably PACS experience.
• Experience working with Project Managers, PACS Administrators, Interface Engineers and Network Administrators in a healthcare environment.
• Proven ability to effectively address and solve complex problems.
• DICOM, and HL7 experience required.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and procedures, as well the willingness to adapt.
• Deep understanding of multiple facets of healthcare imaging with prior experience serving hospitals, clinics, etc.
• Solid written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills
• Optimistic, “customer first” positive, can-do attitude and high energy approach.

• BA or BS degree preferred.
