Identity Solutions Zero Trust Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong focus in Zero Trust for a 6 month need for our team!

Highlights:

• $110- $130.00 hourly, M-F 8-5 PST
• Security, AD, and AAD
• This project will be implementing Jira in the environment
• Remote 6 month W2
• Must have IAM experience, OKTA expertise

• Subject matter expertise in Zero Trust, with the ability to demonstrate understanding of the business requirements and opportunities in that market across such subject areas as Enforcement of Access, User & Device Identity etc.
• Knowledge of network security architecture, zoning and micro-segmentation concepts
• Broad understanding of operational security internally and under a commercial framework
• Experience implementing ZTNA in a complex, hybrid environment including Zero Trust Strategy, and Zero Trust Network Architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Working with a team of practitioners, execute follow-on actions working with internal stakeholders to successfully deliver a ZTNA project within a complex dynamic environment.
• Practical experience with determining a logical starting point for assessing and incrementing from course-grained (foundational) to fine-grained (advanced) policy.
• Create low-level designs, high-level designs, implementation plans, and acceptance test plan documents
• Act as a SME to provide technical leadership for designing, engineering, implementing and integrating Zero Trust security solutions; communicate the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
• Knowledge of the global technology landscape, and the competitive interplay between incumbents, emerging providers, disruptors and outsourcers
• Direct engagement deconflicting and rationalizing applications and workloads (assets) best-suited for ZTN scope. Address and solution method for operational sustainment and future orchestration of additional ZTN scoped applications, services and workloads.
• Identify opportunities to influence the strategic direction of Zero Trust architecture initiatives to achieve desired maturity levels in a hybrid infrastructure and workforce environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Subject matter expertise in Zero Trust, with the ability to demonstrate understanding of the business requirements and opportunities in that market across such subject areas as Enforcement of Access, User & Device Identity etc.
• Knowledge of network security architecture, zoning and micro-segmentation concepts
• Experience implementing ZTNA in a complex, hybrid environment including Zero Trust Strategy, and Zero Trust Network Architectures.
• Broad understanding of operational security internally and under a commercial framework

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Zero Trust principles aligned to identity services and Access Management with emphasis on enforcing ‘explicit trust’ (per identity, device & session).
• Articulate and succinct communication skills. Publishing and Speaking engagements an advantage
• Ability to manage project activities aligned to expected and defined objectives.
• Knowledge and experience with Identity Management technologies like SSO, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, Encryption, PKI.
• Experience in a federated organizational model.
