Basic Function
The I&D Net Zero Technology Engineer works closely with the site engineers and technology groups to evaluate Net Zero technology options meet the 2050 goal. The role will support the I&D Technology Net Zero Manager in developing pathways to Net Zero that align with sustainability and business goals with consideration to technology innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Model the enabling Decarb technologies for the I&D sites located in the US.
- Provide support to complete detailed analysis on enabling technologies that support Net Zero pathways for I&D technologies.
- Provide support and guidance to regional sites for CO2 reduction initiatives to ensure alignment with the Zero GHG options.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Integration and alignment with support groups to gain alignment on the pathways.
Qualifications
- Modelling experience with I&D processes and energy balances
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 10+ years of process engineering experience with exposure to PO technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
