Job Description
The VP of HR is responsible for developing human capital initiatives that are closely aligned to the overall objectives of the Company while maintaining oversight for the HR function. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership in alignment with the senior executive team and ensuring that all processes are appropriately aligned to the legal and compliance expectations of the Company. This person will provide direct oversight to the key leaders responsible for core HR and talent functions. Overseeing the management to include, but not limited to the HR Generalists, HRIS support, HR Benefits team, Payroll support team, and the Employee Experience team. The VPHR will focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining talent that adopts and promotes the Company’s culture of accountability, transparency, and dedication to outstanding customer experience and clinical outcomes.


How You'll Contribute


  • Direct oversight of new employee onboarding, training and alignment to the organizations mission, vision, values, and alignment to a culture of service and accountability
  • Evaluation and management of process creation, process improvement and process streamlining associated with all HR functions
  • Monitoring and evaluation the effectiveness of all human resource programs and implementing changes as necessary to elevate the level and success of these initiatives
  • Leading the development and consistent implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices throughout the organization, including tools and processes to improve and standardize best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and becoming the expert on all recruiting issues and trends
  • Active participation and leadership in all HR needs for Merger and Acquisition Projects to ensure appropriate transition of staff, benefits, policies, & procedures
  • Developing a high-performing team of agile HR professionals to support the company’s long-term growth
  • Designing and leading an end-to-end talent ecosystem strategy, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, onboarding, learning and professional development, performance management, and total rewards including compensation and benefits
  • Performs duties relying on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of ingenuity and flexibility is required
  • Ownership and accountability of all vendor agreements to support HRIS and other HR functions
  • May assess new products or services and provide suggestions for enhancements to senior leadership
  • Providing ongoing competitive analysis regarding key decisions that others in the industry are making as it relates to recruitment, retention of employees, and overall policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • 5-10 years of HR related experience, Healthcare Preferred but not required
  • Strong senior executive engagement and influencing skills
  • Data-driven and analytic in nature with the ability to leverage analytical prowess to push data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; master's degree in related field or experience preferred
  • Execution-focused individual with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” approach that can drive process implementation, optimization, and sustainable improvement while the Company is working aggressively to achieve their growth plans.
  • Strong team player with service-oriented passion and a people focused mentality
  • Ability to travel as needed (minimal)
  • Deep knowledge of the broad spectrum of HR functions
