The Human Resources Onboarding Partner is an integral role that manages and supports candidates through the new hire onboarding process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an expert in time management, possess great communication skills and, most importantly, enjoys creating memorable experiences for new employees joining the organization.


While this position is a Phoenix, AZ based role, we are in a remote status, with one in office day per week required. There may be department meetings or training's that require in-person attendance (proper health and safety measures will be followed), in which advance notice will be provided.


What You Will Do


  • Schedules onboarding meetings and/or event details for orientation.
  • Collaborates among key departments that have a role in the onboarding experience such as Learning and Development, Information Technology, Talent Acquisition, etc.
  • When necessary, assists with the immigration, relocation, the out-of-town travel, candidate travel reimbursement needs of candidates.
  • Ensures background investigations, I-9 verifications and e-Verify are conducted in accordance with state and federal requirements.
  • Ensures all steps in the new hire process run smoothly and seamlessly; resolves issues as they arise in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates the onboarding process by coordinating the logistics for new employees, including developing and distributing communications, registration, and confirmation of onboarding events, etc.
  • Creates and maintains employee files, performs data entry and workflow of new hire information.
  • Frequently communicates with new employees, managers and HR partners to provide updates about hiring and onboarding processes. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner.


What You Will Have


  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative HR capacity, preferably handling talent acquisition processes and working in an applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful but not required.
  • Self-motivated with ability to juggle multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment and fulfill commitments while under deadline pressure.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, industrial relations, psychology or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant experience and education may be substituted.
  • Detail-oriented with good planning and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with federal and state government regulations as related to employment law.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
