Position Overview


We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic Human Resources Advisor to join our Global HR Service Center. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing high-level support to employees regarding onboarding, benefits, new hire administration, separations, and policies and procedures. You will serve as a first point of contact for HR related assistance and information for US and Canadian based employees, managers, and HR Business Partners. We are looking for someone with great problem-solving skills, who has the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, Shared Service / Center of Excellence office environment.


As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for processing and resolving the more complex requests on a wide variety of HR issues, providing quality support services with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness utilizing our support portal, telephone, chat, email, and drop-in face-to-face interactions. This position has a good understanding of HR and can explain the background and context of rules and procedures to employees and managers on more complex issues. This includes evaluating and analyzing the request/concern, quickly interpreting the situation, determining the appropriate resolution and/or escalation, and communicating the resolution and escalation to the customer in accordance with company and HR policies and procedures. This role works closely with HR centers of excellence (COE) team members and HR Business Partners to resolve problems and identify areas of ambiguity needing clarity or improvement. This position also supports the department in the administration of HR work and projects assigned to the team.

Location


This position can be based out of Omaha, NE; Lenexa, KS; Denver, CO; or Houston, TX


Responsibilities


  • Act as main point of contact for new hires before their start date and, providing a best-in-class onboarding experience.
  • Leverage HR dashboards, reports, and data to build reports, presentations, and communications for the HRBPs and department leadership.
  • Support on-boarding process for both full-time employees and interns to ensure consistent messaging across the department.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvement and efficiency based on patterns and trends that have been identified through audit of cases and work product. Work with management to identify workflow issues and identify process improvement opportunities and continually seek to stay current on company policies, procedures and organizational changes
  • Utilize and implement various human resource information systems (HRIS) and provide support to employees and managers
  • Professionally and accurately responds to written and oral inquiries from employees and managers regarding more complex HR questions, issues, and problems. This will include telephone, chat, e-mail, and drop-in face-to-face interactions.
  • Obtain and provide requested information or take appropriate action to resolve, refer, or escalate issues in accordance with company and/or HR policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a first escalation point and utilizes knowledge of HR to provide understanding to employees and managers on more complex questions and issues. Based on training and judgment, has somewhat more discretion and autonomy in the decisions made in the course of a typical escalated call.
  • At the direction of your manager, may assist in work audits and quality review support, reporting up trends and behaviors in support of overall team efficiency.
  • Work closely with the field HR teams, employees and management and support the department in the administration of assigned work, including reprioritizing tasks to meet fluctuating workflow.


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of various areas of human resources including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, and compensation
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, Shared Service / Center of Excellence office environment
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and individuals
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 3-4 years of Human Resources experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
  • Degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team

Base Compensation: $59,000 - $85,000


(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
