Job Description
What You'll Do
  • Serve as back up and support for payroll processing
  • Serving as the primary contact for employees and management regarding human resources policies, programs and initiatives
  • Actively managing workers’ compensation claims; communicating with carriers and injured workers. Maintain OSHA 300 report, and posting as necessary
  • Performing pre-employment onboarding and candidate communication activities such as but not limited to reference checks, drug testing, drafting letters of offers, extending offers, and completing any internal documentation and conducting New Hire Orientation
  • Processing benefit enrollments including new enrollments, open enrollment and updates as required
  • Processing and monitoring leave of absence, Family Medical Leave, and disability claims
  • Coordinates and monitors drug testing to comply with company policy
  • Processing new hires, benefits, promotions, discipline, HRIS entry and terminations
  • Performs other job-related projects and duties as assigned
  • Support administrative management of the office
  • Assist with warning reports and performance improvement plans
  • Process employment verification paperwork
What We're Looking For
  • 2-5 years of experience with principles and practices of human resources or related
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP would go a long way
