Job Description
A pediatric home health company is seeking for an experienced and highly skilled Human Resources Director to manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs. We are looking for someone to oversee the design, development, and execution of human resource strategies, including, but not limited to: recruitment, training and development, talent management, performance management, employee relations, and culture development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participates in the recruiting process and decision-making to ensure top talent is brought into the organization
  • Conduct organization and talent assessments with leadership. Outline development plans for top talent to use as a retention tool
  • Guide HR reporting and analytics that will drive business decisions. Work with HR team members to build HR metrics for regular reporting and provide analysis to business leaders
  • Provide consultation to Directors and Managers on the legal requirements, documentation, and initiation of discipline and discharge procedures
  • Responsible for employee relation strategies ensuring consistent interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Manager the HR staff
  • Identify employee training and development needs for the organization. Partner with the necessary resources to bring programs to employees that will address training and development needs
  • Responsible for Workers’ Compensation monthly reporting
  • Build, implement, and manage the following systems: Human Resources Information and Management (HRIS, HRMS), Applicant tracking (ATS), benefits management, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, and time and attendance systems
  • Maintains and create job descriptions and standard operating procedures
  • Actively partner and coach senior leaders on topics ranging from employee retention, employee relations, talent development, organizational design, HR policies, and performance management
  • Direct and support the development and execution of programs that empower managers to plan, evaluate, and develop the performance of their teams
  • Manage the Performance Management process, including training, communication, and metrics. Oversee the rollout and use of tools for process and ensure data integrity
  • Handle open enrollment process, compliance, and reporting
  • Review, develop, and propose HR policy and program enhancements/changes to align with business strategies
  • Build, supervise, and maintain a positive onboarding experience for new employees
  • Ensure compliance with all State and federal HR-related laws and regulations
  • Oversee compensation and benefit administration
Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel to other offices will be required but is primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Proven working experience as an HR manager or HR executive.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
