What are you looking for?


We’re hiring for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to help scale our team and people operations processes. This role will give you the opportunity to grow, develop, and scale a team of 30 fantastic individuals in our fast-growing culture-forward company!


This position reports directly to the CEO, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with department managers and team members to strengthen our team and culture, while making a real impact on our employees and company growth.

So, what will I be doing?


  • Manage 2 part-time Office Administrators (1 in Boulder, CO and 1 in Portland, OR)
  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding processes for employees: Gusto, tools, state tax registrations, company property, act as a culture ambassador, etc.
  • Team engagement & culture development: planning and execution of team events & retreats, regular check-ins with team and managers, employee engagement, maintenance & development of processes to grow/support company culture, performance reviews, etc.
  • Support team with travel arrangements and logistics when needed
  • Ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment, coaching individuals to correct behaviors if necessary
  • Support department managers with budget oversight
  • Vet and ultimately pick benefits (healthcare, financial perks, vision, dental) to offer employees
  • Management and point of contact for all benefits processes and payroll operations
  • Work in partnership with department managers to recruit and hire as needed, while managing all candidate interactions



Requirements


Am I qualified?


To be qualified for this role, you have:


  • Google Business Suite
  • Experience in management and leadership
  • Experience managing state tax registrations
  • Experience working in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats, and being the source of knowledge within people operations
  • Knowledge of legalities and employment requirements on a state and federal level
  • Desire to be an integral member of a team and collaborate with all stakeholders to provide an amazing experience to all employees
  • Experience working on hybrid teams
  • Experience growing and scaling people operations and team size from under 50 people to 100+


Nice to have


  • Experience working with USCIS
  • SaaS industry experience
  • Experience working with Gusto

Compensation


Base pay: $90,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience

Equity: .03% - .1%
