About the Role: The HR Administrator will perform administrative tasks and will be responsible for supporting effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills as they partner with employees, managers, business leaders and HR Business Partners. The HR Administrator will report to the HR Operations Manager.


About the Team: The HR Operations team is comprised of HR Administrators and Leave Administration Specialists who are responsive, collaborative, and able to work independently, handling critical situations, requests, and transactions for our most important assets, our employees.


What You’ll Do


  • Maintain employee files (electronic and/or hard copy).
  • Play a key role in ensuring our high volume of new employees data is accurately transferred from our onboarding application to our HRIS application (UKG).
  • Support the unemployment process by responding to inquiries from our third-party vendor.
  • Participate in projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Provides support for Human Resources programs and initiatives.
  • Process employee related changes into HRIS application (UKG).
  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries on matters including payroll, benefits, policy and procedures.


What We’re Looking For


  • Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Advanced Excel skills a plus.
  • Ability to interact with people in a manner that displays tact, professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Experience with UKG or another applicable HRIS system a strong plus.
  • 2+ years of work experience in an administrative or human resources related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines and taking accountability for results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Location: Hybrid, Chicago IL (3 days Onsite)
