Job Description

A Client is looking for a Human Resource Manager who will provide competent, courteous support and professional management of the day-to-day remote operations of the Human Resource functions.

DIRECT HIRE

Location: Within West Region, Pacific Time (REMOTE)

Position: Human Resource Manager

Pay Rate: $85k to $125k

Position Objective:

Contribute to the accomplishment of Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, productivity, high quality, and standards that supports our company’s core values.


Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

  • Answers HR related questions and problems courteously and promptly.
  • Keep abreast of new labor laws affecting the company and its employees.
  • Effectively record, maintain, and report human resources information in compliance with company policy as well as federal, state, and local laws as well as document and file all Leaves of Absences (FMLA, PDL, COVID, etc.) as well as Workers Comp leaves.
  • Ensure that the company complies with federal, state, and local regal requirements; enforcing adherence; advising leadership on needed action.
  • Maintain and update employee handbook and policies on laws, regulations, and procedures.

Employee Relations, Company culture, and engagement.

  • Collaborate with Executive leaders to cultivate strong company culture and employer reputation.
  • Lead and develop the Community culture program that reaches out to all active Corporate and Field Staff Employees.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's values, culture, and business objectives.

Corporate Recruiting/Training & Development

  • Create offer letters and present them to potential employees.
  • Conduct orientation and HR-related training of new employees.
  • Corporate talent acquisition: job post, source, interview, and present candidates to management.
  • Assist managers with writing, modifying, or creating role descriptions and offer letters.


Education & Experience

  • Experience Managing, Training, and Communicating in a remote workforce.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Hospitality Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR Management.
  • Experience and high knowledge of Microsoft Office Software & MS Teams environment.


Skills, Knowledge, and Ability:

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and regulations related to employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Remote workforce HR Management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees and leaders.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement survey tools, data analysis software, and HRIS systems is preferred.
