This job posting will be used to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain open until position has been filled.
Why does the job exist?
This position will provide leadership and management to the Division of Health Improvement in the area of Human Resources. The position provides assistance with the interpretation of State Personnel Board Rules, PERA Rules, Department of Health policies and procedures, federal and state laws related to Human Resources such as Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, Age Discrimination Act, and Family Medical Leave Act. Incumbent will demonstrate independent performance of all activities with considerable latitude to plan and organize daily work within established procedures.
How does it get done?
The position will provide advanced and complex human resource services and responsibilities include, but are not limited to classifications, compensation, recruitment, labor relations, administrative investigations, worker's compensation, payroll and benefits.

All Division of Health Improvement Staff, including management and supervisors.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in any related field and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration and/or occupational analysis. Substitutions apply.

Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Office setting, attending meetings, visiting provider agencies, extensive computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
