Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Details:

  • Pay: $60K-$75K depending on years of experience
  • Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Type: Direct hire with benefits
  • Location: In office for training and then open to discussion


Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process all leaves of absences to include family medical leave, military leave and personal leave and unemployment claims.
  • Assist with performance management process, including assisting training of new managers.
  • Manage leave administration to include FMLA, ADA, and disability programs.
  • Bi-weekly payroll, time and attendance, PTO inputting and record keeping.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of job applicants. Completes onboarding of new employees, processes terminations and facilitates exit interviews.
  • Investigates employee relation matters, corrective action, conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Serve as main contact to answer all employee questions regarding onboarding, benefits, payroll and all other areas of HR.
  • Supports benefits administration to include enrollment, re-enrollment, education, claims resolution, and change reporting.
  • Compensation analysis and keeping updated with market rates.


Requirements:

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and written & verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar industry
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite of products, to include Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now (modules and portal) is a plus.
  • Ability to hold confidentiality in all aspects of position.
  • 2+ years of professional HR experience
