Job Description
Duties

Below are a list of major duties:

  • Track office supply levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies with the designated purchase card holder.
  • Draft vacancy announcements in the USA Staffing talent acquisition system for positions with a limited scope.
  • Maintain files and reference materials.
  • Prepare recurring financial and administrative reports for management.
  • Use a variety of computer programs, Microsoft Office and HR systems and tools to complete work assignments.
  • Onboard candidates for Federal positions.
  • Answer applicant questions via email and telephone.
  • Support hiring initiatives across Government.
RequirementsConditions of Employment
  • If the duty station is finalized outside of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, this position will not be represented by a bargaining unit.(BU Code - 7777)
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
  • Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
  • This position is eligible for inclusion in the bargaining unit.
  • If the duty station is finalized in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, employees in this position will be represented by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 32.(BU Code - 2286)
  • Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
Qualifications

For the GS 5:You must have one year of experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service which demonstrates most of the following:

  • Use automated systems to access, search, and prepare routine reports.
  • Assist HR Specialists in carrying out a wide range of tasks related to staffing and employee on-boarding.
