Working Title: HR Program Coordinator (Entry – Intermediate Level) – Faculty Affairs, Psychiatry

Job Summary:


HR and Faculty Affairs is responsible for management of promotions, new appointments, onboarding, appointment maintenance/updates and faculty databases (e.g., OnBase, Salesforce, Smartsheet, FIMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep department documentation up to date throughout the process including smartsheets, employee files and OnBase.
  • Coordinate faculty credentialing and privileging at UCHealth and CHCO, including UCH Payor Source Credentialing.
  • Coordinate CUMed Salesforce credentialing and Site of Practice efforts.
  • Assist with HR and payroll entries related to hiring, leave of absence approval, changes in FTE, pay changes and separations as needed.
  • Assist recruitment team with open positions and help coordinate interviews and onsite visits.

Work Location:


Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Entry Level:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Intermediate Level:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year of professional level experience in Human Resources.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating diverse groups of faculty and staff.
  • Experience with University of Colorado systems including HCM, Interfolio, Smartsheets, PRiSM, OnBase.
  • Experience in creating HR documents (Letters of offers, MPA’s, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to efficiently organize, multi-task, and prioritize duties and tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain consistent high-level performance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking.
  • Demonstrate commitment and ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations in order to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resource challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) including the ability to perform moderately complex formatting of Word documents and basic analytic functions in Excel.
  • Manages and enforces deadlines and schedules.
  • Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.
  • Strong and effective communication and writing skills, and a proven record of forming collaborative and effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with supervisors, co-workers, and various interested parties.
  • Thorough knowledge of current management and leadership methods and best practices.

Anticipated Pay Range:


The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:

Entry Level: $43,511 - $55,346

Intermediate Level: $47,350 - $60,230

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
