The NC-PAL Research Analyst I will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, organizing and conducting of the NC-PAL (North Carolina Psychiatry Access Line) program.

The NC-PAL Research Analyst I will work closely with the NC-PAL PIs, Directors, Data and Evaluation Team, and program leaders to ensure a robust data infrastructure for program reporting, implementation evaluation and sustainability.

Provide support for planning and developing data and evaluation protocols for NC-PAL

  • Advise on the development of evaluation plans to monitor program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative techniques
  • Support the development of data management systems including REDCap
  • Develop forms and questionnaires and coordinate the application of research techniques
  • Design data visualization in the form of maps, graphics and figures
  • Confer with data and program leads in developing plans for research projects

Support the collection, organization, and management of data related to NC-PAL activities

  • Collaborate with and support NC-PAL team members in ensuring data collection is complete, timely, and valid
  • Utilize a variety of data systems (e.g., electronic health record, Qualtrix, REDCap, Excel) to support data collection
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of data management systems, including REDCap
  • Investigate, apply and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Analyze and summarize data related to NC-PAL activities

  • Confer with data and program leads to discuss the interpretation of results
  • Support preparation and completion of data reporting for funding agencies
  • Prepare oral presentations or written reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions

Minimum Education/Training Job Requirements:

Work requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, or a related field.
