Job Description

TekStream is seeking a Sr HR Generalist for our Enterprise Healthcare IT Client on a long term contract basis. This is a remote opportunity, but there there might be an onsite visit once or twice a quarter in Atlanta.



The HRBP/HR Generalist is accountable for supporting the functional areas within the Human Resources department. This role supports and provides input to the development, implementation, and maintenance of organization-wide human resource procedures, policies, systems, and programs focused at improving human capital. This role is responsible for ensuring business need are considered when creating and implementing new HR policies, procedures, and programs as well as ensuring consistency and compliance with the execution of said initiatives. This role collaborates with associates and managers regarding the associate employment lifecycle in the areas of Talent management, Performance Management, Job Analysis. The person in this role relies on their knowledge of the HR discipline in order to advise, coach and counsel managers and associates regarding these matters. To be successful in this role, the individual must be knowledgeable in human resource policies, legal requirements, and internal policy/procedures communications as well as OD principles and practices.


Requirements:

  • Talent management knowledge and skills – from hiring to offboarding
  • Performance management knowledge and skills
  • 4 years experience building trust with internal business partners
  • Needs assessment/analysis
  • Job description/family structure - creation and implementation
  • 4 years Talent review experience – evaluating talent for performance, readiness and progression
  • 8+ years Human Resources experience that includes HR Management knowledge
  • 4 years job family experience creating structure around specific families and implementing department and/or company structures to maximize movement and shelf-life


Required Education or Certification:

  • PHR or similar certification from a credentialing body
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
