Job Opportunity – HR Generalist with Building Crafts, Inc. in Wilder, KY

As an HR Generalist, you provide comprehensive HR Support and play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the human resource operations.


Other Responsibilities Of This Position Include


  • Benefits administration and open enrollment and assist with compensation analysis benchmarking.
  • Recruiting and Onboarding; including collaborating with hiring manager to identify and develop recruiting strategies, post job advertisements, screen resumes, facilitate the selection process for hourly roles and maintain communication with hourly candidates throughout the onboarding process.
  • Maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements; including staying up to date on all employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee relations: serving as the point of contact for employees and provide guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and feedback.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field and SHRM certification; preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally for site visits.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Experience in a construction or manufacturing setting; required.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of employment, compliance and regulatory laws and regulations.
